Peu d'étiquette: Little Tag

Foreign languages are so exotic. My husband is fluent in four different languages and sometimes I ask him to tell me stories in French. I understand 8% of what he's saying, but it doesn't matter. He could be reading the EU stock market report. It's in French. It's sexy.

Peu d'étiquette is little tag in French. I've been tagged by my new blog friend Queen Vicci. I've seen other people extoll tidings and joy unto their respective taggers. To get tagged is almost like being asked to join the trendy and sociable Key Club, I guess. and I don't have many friends yet in the school yard so I wasn't expecting to get tagged so soon. So thanks to you, Vicci.

As in any game, there are rules:

1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.
2. Share 5 facts about yourself.
3. Tag 5 people at the end of your post and list their names, linking to them.
4. Let them know they've been tagged by leaving a comment at their blogs.

Five facts about myself:

1. I was born in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (not in a suburb like some people) at Albert Einstein Hospital.

2. I'm a devout Catholic and my husband is a devout Muslim.

3. I'm severely allergic to all tree and ground nuts (My future children will not know the joy of PBJ); I cook #1 because I love it #2 because everything in the Southern United States is covered/dusted/sprinkled/studded with pecans or peanuts. I developed this allergy at the age of 14 and I have fruit "sensitivities" to most fruit.

4. I'm fluent in Spanish.

5. I'm going to be on TV. I aspire to be famous.

Since I'm new to this school and only know a few people sOoo I'm going to tag the people I've seen, liked, and re-visited so far(other than Vicci):

Heather at Gild the Voodoolily**

Airy Fairy at Airy Fairy Cupcakes <---she has got to be a fairy. Her pics and recipes are unreal.

Update 2/21/08**Since Heather has passed on my tagging, I'm going to tag Rebecca at Potlikker

  4. Nikki,
If you do not win that Royal Foodie Joust this month, it is because the event has been fixed! :p Seriously, your menu items made my mouth water (what flavors and textures!) and I don't even eat red meat!

I have fun reading your blog. :)

And we are both Pennsylvania born!
